Currently providing 1-on-1 private and homeschool tutoring virtually and in-person.
Reading, Spelling, and Writing Tutoring
Students will receive individualized reading and spelling tutoring using either the Orton-Gillingham or EBLI approach. Both approaches are highly effective for developing strong readers and spellers. Writing, including sentence structure and paragraph writing, is supported using Releasing Writers or Strengthening Student Writing through Focus.
Morphology, Vocabulary, and Comprehension Tutoring
Students will improve their higher-level spelling and reading comprehension with morphology (affixes, Greek and Latin roots), explicit vocabulary instruction, and novel studies. Students may be supported using Orton-Gillingham morphology lessons, EBLI's authentic lessons, Structured Word Inquiry, or the Word Mapping Project.
Homeschool
Tutoring
ELA tutoring is offered for TK-12 homeschool students between 9:00am-2:30pm. Students will receive individualized ELA support using the Orton-Gillingham or EBLI approach.
*For charter students, I am a vendor with Mission Vista Academy, Sage Oak Charter Schools, Suncoast Charter, and Harmony Educational Services.

About Tiffany Lam, M.Ed.
Hi! I'm Tiffany, a tutor and mom, who is passionate about all things literacy - reading, spelling, and writing.
Since 2012, I have worked with students in different settings - in school as an Education Specialist, in learning centers, and in homes as a private tutor. I developed my passion for literacy in 2015, when I started working with students with suspected and diagnosed Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism, and saw how effective structured reading instruction was for them.
I became trained in Orton-Gillingham in 2021 through IMSE and have done 100+ hours of OG training since then. I became EBLI certified in 20206. I am always learning and reading up on the latest literacy research, best practices, and alternate methodologies to support my students' differing needs. I'd love to see if I am a good fit for your child's learning needs.
Fun fact: I won my school's spelling bee competition in 6th grade and competed in the district spelling bee!
